Mega Man X left out of UMVC3 due to "lack of fan support"

Capcom cranked the troll meter up to eleven by saying in regards to a new Darkstalkers game as well. Fans put together a petition last year and garnered over 150k signatures, what they got in response to this was "Come back when you get another 850 thousand."
Despite that, they showed a slide at today's SFxT presentation that said "DARKSTALKERS IS NOT DEAD" They then immediately countered all stories and said that they never announced a new Darkstalkers game etc etc.
I'm moving this thread because it's not just personal anymore. Capcom is becoming one of the largest group of assholes in the gaming industry. You can't shit on your fans like this and get away with it.

So now, apparently it's the earthquake's fault that capcom is releasing all this planned DLC as UMvC3 and making people pay $40 for it.
Capcom has lost their minds, and anyone should feel ashamed to play this UMvC3 crap. There is no reason they couldn't have released this DLC online, earthquake or not.
I don't understand how people can buy Capcom games anymore, when more than likely a re-release will be released in the next 9-12 months of the same game you just purchased making yours outdated. Mega Man, as far as I can remember, was the only series exempt to that rule and maybe thats why they hate it.
Eventually other companies are going to start pulling the same shit with regards to re-releases. Fuck that shit, I'm not buying anymore capcom games.
I hope they go bankrupt and their assets sold. The capcom of old is dead.
