So Studio Ghibli has decided (so I've heard) to release all of their films on Blu-ray. Naturally, they started with Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind! Though Miyazaki's first film he directed was The Castle of Cagliostro!
ANYWAY.
It was released in 1984 so the quality isn't perfect, but man is it beautiful.
If you've enjoyed Ghibli films and have access to a Blu-ray player, you shouldn't skip over this one!
I give it a bajillion out of 10 because I love Studio Ghibli.
ANYWAY.
from nausicaa.netNausicaä, the princess of a small nation, lives in a world devastated by a holocaust called the "Seven Days of Fire". She tries to stop other warring nations from destroying themselves and from destroying the only means by which their world can be saved from the spread of polluted wastelands.
