Sorry about my English but i'am new to the USA.When I see the threads it shows the date created as 2009.

I also have old threads showing up under the new post tab. Heres an example:

The date for the last post was 01-20-2009. I have marked the forum read a few time too.

Note: I think your problem is that your looking at the date when the thread was created. If you scroll to the last page, you'll find current post about the original topic.
