Doesn't sound like a good idea to me. Hollywood always makes the worst renditions of video games on the big screen, and to me the Halo storyline isn't strong enough for a film adaptation.

You read the books? They should make a movie set pre-Halo or post-Halo, but not about the actual events of Halo.

from what I heard, bungie will have major creative control over the movie, so it might not be too bad.
