I don't play enough games per year to vote. That being said, Halo 2.

i've only played a couple, but i'd imagine the candidates would be half life 2, halo 2, mgs3, san andreas, metroid prime 2, ratchet and clank, and all that other shit.

My prediction (well, more like logic than a prediction): Half-Life 2 is going to win game of the year overall. Halo 2, Metroid Prime 2, and GTA: SA will win the top awards on their respective consoles.
