does anybody know why they did CGI versions of actual actors instead of just using the actors instead? seems like that would've cost less

but i havent seen it so i'm guessing there are some things in there that would be hard to do with real actors or somethin

yeah the whole movie is cgi. but it really looks like the real people, especially angelina jolie and anthony hopkins.

i'll be honest the first time i saw the trailer i didnt realize it was CGI until somebody pointed it out to me but i was watching a crappy quality version

yeah i didnt really notice either. i thought it was kinda like 300 where everything looked kinda glossed over, but the more i saw the commercials and such the more i realized it was total cgi.
