help with xbox live sign up!

ok someone please tell me wtf is going on, heres the problem,
when i was signing up (Getting started) i had sent in my email, they said i am under age, so i made a new email addy with a higher age, it still said that i am underage. does the xbox know my DoB details some how?

what's the age you need to be? i dont remember.

try clearing the xbox's cache (hold A when starting up) and entering your dads email or something
