Microsoft's biggest hassle with making a slimmer 360 is the fact the harddrive is so god damn wide, unless they are gonna give up using those now, or having it mount in a really ugly way.

I don't think it looks THAT BAD, but I don't think that is it because it just looks too much of angle for it to sit flat.

Eh, I have no problem with it's looks or the name Kinect personally, which I just finished flaming people on Kotaku about. Besides, it doesn't look near as bad as the dust magnet George Foreman grill sponsored by Spiderman sitting under my TV.

I want to know about games, I already own an Xbox. I want to see some Mass Effect 3.

The more that gets talked about, the more I'm thinking this year is going to be Microsoft's turn to have a terrible press conference.

There's just not much besides Gears of War 3 that I'm interested unless they try to surprise me.

Konami's teaser points towards Tuesday, which would be Sony's day.

Among games in the works:

•Kinectimals lets you train and play with 20 different virtual cats, including a lion, cheetah and tiger.

•Joyride, a racing game, lets players use their hands to hold an imaginary steering wheel — pull your hands toward you and push back out for an acceleration boost — and their bodies to execute jumps and tricks.

•Kinect Sports has six activities including boxing, bowling, beach volleyball, track and field, soccer and table tennis. To serve a volleyball, you mimic the real motion; in soccer, you can kick the ball or do a header.

•Kinect Adventures includes a river-raft time trial and obstacle course, playable by up to four players. On the raft, playing as a duo, you and a partner must lean one way or another to steer. Jumping helps the raft reach special areas for extra points.

•Dance Central, in development by MTV Games, brings a So You Think You Can Dance experience home.

•Star Wars characters and iconic Disney favorites will be featured in separate new games being developed at Microsoft in conjunction with LucasArts and Disney.

RIP XBOX

So bets on the Kinect price? I'm guess like 150, but it'll be some shitty bundle pack.

Or have they finally decided on a price tag?

The article I read said there was no price point yet. I guess that'll leak tomorrow.

Seriously though, both Sony and Microsoft tried to tout the possibilities of these new motion controls since their platforms are more powerful than the Wii, but the bottom line is that motion controls are gimmicks just like 3d.

LAME.

Well after these terrible developments, I'm sure half of Microsoft's press conference will be talking about these casual ass seizure games.

Looks like I'm betting it all on Nintendo this year.

I'm looking forward to Nintendo the most, for sure, but I mean they better make it good this year to make up for vitality sensors and ravi drums.

God this Kinect shit is gonna be so brutal to watch. It might be as cringeworthy as Ravi himself.

As long as it's like $60 or around there (or less) I will probably check it out. If it's like $200 FUCK YOU
